Lots of people go to prom without a date. You can have just as much fun going on your own or with a group of friends.
It will still be a great memory of your high school years. Dance with your friends and have a good time.
If you still feel uncomfortable by not having a date...ask a friend to go with you. There does not have to be any romantic attachments. The person could act as more of a security blanket for you.
